Twin River Find Gold In The Rough On New EP

Vancouver indie folk quintet Twin River have just released their new EP Rough Gold on Light Organ Records and they're offering a free stream of it on their Soundcloud.

"To me, the most impressive songwriter is one who is able to communicate a life story within 3 minutes," singer Courtney Ewan said in a statement. She's a veteran of the Vancouver music scene along with co-singer Andy Bishop. Between the two of them, they're in a myriad of bands including Red CedarYukon Blonde, Slim Fathers and White Ash Falls.

Though it initially started life as a duo, Twin River is now a full band rounded out by Rebecca Gray (Chains of Love), Malcolm Jack (Sun Wizard/Capitol 6), and Dustin Bromley (Pleasure CruiseKeep Tidy). They've opened for big name acts such as Daniel, Fred and Julie.

They recorded the four-song EP with  Malcolm Jack from Sun Wizard.
