Like Womanizing Killers? Britney Spears stealing ideas from Hot Little Rocket?
This just occurred to me while watching Video on Trial (yes my life is sad, move on please) and, um, forgive me if this connection has previously been made 'cuz sometimes I'm slow on the uptake, but does anyone else see eerie similarities between the music video for catchy Canadian rockers Hot Little Rocket's Like Killers and the music video for washed-up teen queen Britney Spears' Womanizer?
Exhibit A (circa 2007)
Exhibit B (circa 2009)
Sure, one video has gratuitous nudity and reeks of look-at-me look-at-me desperation, whereas the other video features killer hooks and impressive jazz dancing by indie rockers (and I'm not saying which is which), but humour me and play both at the same time. Scary! Pink Floyd The Wall-Wizard of Oz scary!

You're right, the similarities are striking - Of course Britney isn't even smart enough to steal, though she does pay people to steal for her.
