Tips for NxEW Writers

For those of you who are going to write for the blog, don't forget to get me a bio for the Who We Are page.

As for the rest:

How to write: However you like. If you're a trained seasoned writer write the way you've been taught to. If you've never written anything, write in whatever way seems natural. Pretend you're emailing a friend about something and then post it. I'm not particular about style.

What to write: Whatever you like. Write about things you care about, it will show. You don't have to stick to local stuff. The idea here is not to have people only write about their local scene but by having 'boots (or sneakers or whatever) on the ground' in as many locations as possible we can do a better job of not missing stuff.

When to write: As often as you have time. There's no money in this (yet) so there's no pressure.

Media: It's a music blog, if you can stick in music, or video, or pix etc., do it.

Tech support: If you have questions about HTML or other webby things just ask.

Other stuff: If you have questions about anything I haven't covered ask about that too.
