NxEW is Expanding: From “Canadian Music” to “Canadian Arts and Culture”

Have no fear, all of the music is staying however there are far more music sites out there than there used to be and Canadian music is getting far more attention than it did just a few years ago. This is true both in Canada and abroad.
So, we have made the decision to open the content up more. There are, after all, strong ties between the Canadian music scene and other areas of Canadian art. Toronto's Liz Worth writes books about Canadian punk rock, Julie Fader does fantastic work with paint on canvas and Dave Bidini has a book on the way (just to point out a very few examples).
It will take a little while to bring in new writers, to get the word out and for the new content to begin to appear however:
As of September 29, 2011 NxEW is not just a Canadian music site, but a crowd sourced site open to all contributors from all areas of Canadian arts and culture.
