Ahoy mateys,

Audio Blood is going to be setting sail and heading east again! This year we are proud to be part of the 15th annual Nova Scotia Music Week, with several of our artists ready to take the stage and entertain oceanside audiences.

Two Audio Blood artists have been nominated for some awards. Kim Wempe is up for Female Recording Artist of the Year and her latest release Painting with Tides is a contender for Folk Recording of the Year.

The Stanfields, who were the named the “Rising Star of the Year” by The East Coast Music Awards earlier this year, have garnered a nomination from Music Nova Scotia. The boys’ video for the single “Ship to Shore” is being considered for Video of the Year.

Both recently releasing new records, Ben Caplan & The Casual Smokers and Carleton Stone will also be showcasing at this year’s festival with sets on November 3 and 4, respectively.

In addition to all of this, Audio Blood founder and president, Sari Delmar, will be speaking on a panel. After working in the music industry for several years at different organizations, including Wind-Up Records and Rebel Music, Delmar founded Audio Blood in 2009. Audio Blood has grown in to an established music promotion machine. Delmar has written guest blogs for Clash Magazine and Canadian Musician.

Nova Scotia Music Week is proudly presented by Molson Canadian and Music Nova Scotia, a non-profit organization designed to promote and foster musical talent from within the province. The festival runs in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia from Thursday, November 3 until Sunday, November 6 and features a plethora of East Coast talent.
