Infectious pop rockers The Balconies announce upcoming tour dates in support of their new Kill Count EP, available from the band, strictly at shows. The Balconies will play a number of dates throughout Ontario this fall, including supporting performances with Bedouin Soundclash. The band has shared the stage on previous tours with famous crowd pleasers like Mother Mother, Cold War Kids, and Sloan - just to name a few.

Since their inevitable relocation to Toronto from Ottawa, the band has recorded the Kill Count EP and forthcoming LP with Jon Drew (Tokyo Police Club, The Arkells) at Tiny Apples Studios. Bringing out swells of people to concert venues, The Balconies’ music bounces with driving beats and massive sing alongs! The beautifully crafted harmonies belted out by lead singer Jacquie Neville, brother and bassist Stephen Neville, and drummer Liam Jaeger are continuing to capture hearts, young and old, across the country.

The Kill Count EP features three re-recorded and re-mastered tracks from the band’s debut release (“Serious Bedtime”, “300 Pages”, and “Battle Royale”) along with fan favourites from the Kill Count 7inch (“Kill Count” and “Tiger”).

With an album release on the horizon for 2012, The Balconies continue to develop their performance chops. Already a media favourite, The Balconies have graced the covers of street weeklies Ottawa Xpress and VOIR. They have been named a band to watch by the National Post and MSN Canada.
